Kindred Spirits

Kindred Spirits is an ongoing video project featuring negative-image ghost animals against total voids. These haunting visuals act as an ecological memento mori—a poignant response to the mass-extinction crisis.

Each animal is an individual that I’ve recorded, the immaterial essence of an embodied experience captured digitally. Each is also the representative of a species, a stand-in for billions of years of evolution. They are meant to evoke tenderness for the individual and for life collectively.
